The Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 system basic glasses have been prepared by adopting conventional melt quenching technology. The heat-treatment methods were determined by using DTA, and thermal expansion coefficients of glass before and after heat-treatment were measured. The crystal constituents of glass-ceramics after heat-treatment were studied by the methods of XRD. The result shows that we can get the smaller thermal expansion coefficients of glass-ceramics consisting of TiO2+ZrO2 by two steps heat-treatment method; the higher the heat-treatment temperatures wer, the smaller the thermal expansion coefficients could be.
