The 29th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition was opened at Shanghai New International Expo Center on April 19th, 2018. The exhibition area was 80500 m2 and a total of 865 exhibitors from 29 different countries and districts including 612 domestic exhibitors and 253 foreign exhibitors participated in the 4 days’ exhibition. The exhibitors from the countries along the line of “one belt and one road”, such as Israel, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, etc. demonstrated themselves at this exhibition. During the exhibition over 30,000 visitors including decision makers, engineering technicians and professional visitors paid visitation, purchasing, technical communication and/or making trade talks.
The chairman of China Building Material Association Mr. Qiao Longde and the honorary chairman Mr. Zhang Renwei, the president of Chinese Ceramic Society Mr. Xu Yongmo and the secretary general Jin Zhanping, the general manager of Kaisheng Group, the director of Bengbu Glass Industrial Design and Research Institute Mr. Peng Shou, the chairman of Shanghai Ceramic Society, director of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics Chinese Academy of Sciences Mr. Song Lixin, the secretary general of Shanghai Ceramic Society Madam Gu Zhonghua and leaders of the glass industry of China attended this giant glass exhibition with great interests.
The secretary general of SCS Madam Gu Zhonghua paid visitation to the exhibition booths of group members of SCS, such as China International Building Materials Engineering Co. Ltd., Glass & Enamel Research Institute of Dong Hua University, Luoyang Randy Glass Machinery Co. Ltd., Zhengzhou Dezhong Corundum Material Co. Ltd., Air liquide (China) Investment Co. Ltd., Shanghai Yaopi Glass Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jichi Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Yayi Glass Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., etc. At the exhibition each member of SCS demonstrated its own respective characteristic products and the innovative technology. Technical consultation, trade talks were conducted in a continuous stream around their booths.
As an important demonstrative platform, the China Glass Exhibitions over the years always focus on the hot demand and the development tendency of glass industry. Several technical seminars and product promotion activities attracted a lot of professional glass manufacturers to join in and to discuss on the development prospect and trend of glass industry.
