The 28th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition opened in Beijing China International Exhibition Center on May 24th, 2017. A total of 995 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions in the world demonstrated themselves at that 4 days’ largest exhibition in Asia. That exhibition occupies all the 8 exhibiting halls in the Beijing China International Exhibition Center and 106800 m2 of exhibiting area and attracted over 30000 professional visitors from 71 countries and regions in the world to pay visitation and to have purchasing and trade talks. The overseas visitors exceeded 3000 man-time. The numbers of both exhibitors and visitors were larger than ever before.
President of China Building Materials Association (CBMA) Mr. Qiao Longde, secretary general of CBMA Mr. Sun Xiangyuan, vice president of CBMA and chairman of Chinese Ceramic Society Mr. Xu Yongmo, president of SCS and director of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics Chinese Academy of Sciences Mr. Song Lixin, secretary general of SCS Madam Gu Zhonghua in the company of vice chairman and secretary general of Chinese Ceramic Society Mr. Jin Zhanping visited that largest glass exhibition.
Based on the philosophy “Professionalization, internationalization, scalization” the exhibition all-directionally demonstrated global achievements of technology and innovation in glass industry and provided industrial authoritative professional platform for demonstration and communication amongst domestic and foreign manufacturers and companies. It covered almost all the fields of glass industry, such as glass processing technique, machinery, glass product, abrasive material and grinding tool, etc. In the domestic exhibiting area the highlights were glass automatic production line and robot for glass production. In the international exhibiting area there were 75 exhibitors from Germany, Italy and the U.S. demonstrating in the form of national league. During the exhibition the “Forum on New Technique and Application of Architecture and Glass” sponsored by Chinese Ceramic Society and CBMA was held. At the forum a deep communication and discussion was conducted focusing on intellectualization transformation in architectural and glass industry, energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as green development. A total of 10 seminars and new product launches were held at the exhibition. They involved Germany industry 4.0, new techniques for fireproof glass, fully tempered vacuum glass production, thermal oxy-fuel combustion technology for glass bottle production, new trend of glass decoration art, and laser cutting technique in glass deep-processing, etc.
