“The national science and technology innovation conference, Academician Conference of both ChineseAcademy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Ninth Congress of Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) ” was held from May 30th to June 2nd at Great Hall of the People in Beijing. This was the largest and widest range of science and technology conference in China. During the conference President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang delivered their important speeches. The vice director of Shanghai Ceramic Society Mr. Ning Wei as a representative of ninth congress of CAST was honoured to participate in the conference. For good to earnestly study and implement the spirit of ninth congress of CAST a special learning colloquia was held by Furnace and Equipment Committee of SCS. At the colloquia the vice director Mr. Ning Wei conveyed the spirit. Based upon the spirit combined with present status the participants exchanged the recent industrial and development information. They unanimously expressed willingness to study hard and comprehend the spirit earnestly so as to promote the work of the furnace and equipment committee.
