The first meeting of Standardization Committee of SCS was held on March 29^th, 2016. The members of the Committee, The Secretary General and staff of SCS were present at the meeting. The Secretary General Ms. Gu presided over the meeting. At first, Ms. Gu briefly introduced the background and the significance of establishment of this Committee. Then the vice president of SCS Prof. Ning as the temporary convener of the Committee described the significance of the meeting in more detail. At the meeting the participants warmly discussed on the topic of “How to use SCS as a communication platform to promote the standardization work actively and expand the function of SCS”. After a sufficient discussion the participants agreed unanimously to appoint Prof. Ning as the convener of the Committee. The meeting also decided that a training course will expected to be held in this year.
