Reelection meeting for expiration combined with 2016’ symposium was held by Biological and Environmental Protective Materials Committee of SCS on Feb. 23rd, 2016. The vice president of SCS and director of the Committee professor Liu Chang-sheng, the vice president of SCS Mr. Wang De-ping, Secretary General Ms. Gu Zhong-hua took part in this meeting. The Secretary General of SCS presided over the meeting. A total of 23 representatives from universities, research institutes and some medical colleges attended the meeting. This meeting was divided into two phases. At the first phase, the Director of the Committee briefly summarized the work of previous Committee; Secretary General Gu Zhonghua introduced the recent work and some ideas for further work of SCS. The participants introduced themselves one by one.18 people including Mr. Liu Xuanyong were unanimously elected as the Committee members by raising hand vote.At the second phase, the just elected members present at the meeting discussed warmly on the key work of the Committee, academic communication and scientific popularization, as well as cooperation amongst universities, research institutes and enterprises, and so on. At last, the first symposium of the new session of Committee was held.
