The meeting for expiration reelection combined with 2015’ academic symposium was held by Special Inorganic Materials Committee of SCS on Dec. 30th, 2015. There were 22 representatives from universities, research institutes and enterprises present at the meeting. The Secretary General and full time staff of SCS attended the reelection meeting which was presided over by the director of the Committee Mr. Li Yongxiang. The Secretary General Ms. Gu Zhong-hua briefly introduced the reelection procedure and the new roles of expiration reelection stipulated by Shanghai Administration Bureau of NGOs. The director of the Committee Mr. Li briefly introduced the process of nomination and confirmation of candidates. Then the members of the new session of Special Inorganic Materials Committee of SCS were elected out by raising hand. The Secretary General of SCS and the director of the Committee issued the certifications to the just elected members of the Committee and took photographs together with them. In all, there are 24 members of this session of Committee from 9 universities, 2 research institutes of Chinese Academy Science and 3 enterprises. After the reelection, the first symposium of the Committee was held and 5 professors from Shanghai University, Donghua University, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai Tongji University made their wonderful academic reports, respectively. Finally, the participants carried out a warm discussion and communication.
