The second session of 10^th council of Shanghai Ceramic Society (SCS) was convened at the conference room of SCS on July 14^th, 2015. A total of 24 council members participated in this session. The present of SCS Mr. Song Lixin presided over the meeting. The secretary general of SCS Ms. Gu Zhonghua briefly introduced the candidates of the directors of 8 professional committees and the candidates of executive members of the 10^th council. After full consultation and vote by raising hand by the council members present at the meeting, a list of the candidates of directors of professional committees and executive directors of the 10^th council was finally decided. At the meeting the secretary general of SCS also transferred the “Notification of declaration for standardization of social organizations” issued by Shanghai Association for Science and Technology and introduced the deployment and schedule of election for expiration of all the professional committees. During the meeting the comments for SCS-3 Popular Science Anthology were carried out by Popular Science Committee and the first, second and third prizes were decided respectively.
