“2015’ Shanghai International Symposium on Advance Ceramic Technology” sponsored by SCS was held at the conference hall in Shanghai Pudong New International Expo Center on June 10th of 2015. The representatives from business circles, research institutes, universities in Shanghai attended the symposium. The president of 9th council of Shanghai Ceramic Society Mr. Chen Lidong presided over the symposium.
During the symposium professor Xiao Hanning presented his report “The present status and developing tendency of abrasive ceramics”; the advisor of Dicera tech Co. in South Korea reported “Recent progress of coating material and technology in cutting tool field”; Dr. Liu Xiu gave the lecture “The application of Bruker XRF to analysis of ceramic materials”; The research fellow Zhuo Shangjun introduced his research report “The quantitative analysis method by XRF without standards and its application in ceramic material analysis”; The research fellow Wang Zheng reported his research paper “Chemical analysis of ceramic materials”; and the research fellow Jiang Danyu reviewed his study “The method of measuring abrasive resistant property of abrasive ceramics”. During the symposium the discussion and communication between reporters and audiences were carried out by asking questions. This symposium was just located at the pavilion of “2015’ Shanghai International Industrial Ceramics Exhibition”. Many attendees also visited the exhibition with great interest prior to the symposium.
