The training session for science and technology evaluation was conducted by Science and Technology Evaluation Commission of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology on June 9th of 2015. The chief of the related work of evaluation department of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology and the professional personnel of science and technology evaluation from related societies and associations attended the training session. The general secretary of Shanghai Ceramic Society was invited to participate in this session. The director of policy and regulation department of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality Mr. Wu Shou-ren was specially invited to present his report “The types and practice of science and technology evaluation” which involved the basic concept of evaluation, types of evaluation and science and technology evaluation, the developing status of science and technology evaluation, the specification of evaluation system, the criteria and method of evaluation and the practice of science and technology evaluation, etc.
