The second council meeting in 2015 was held on April 21^st. The main topics of the meeting were: to introduce the progress of reelection for expiration of SCS; to discuss the reelection of council and the congress of SCS; to negotiate and recommend the candidates of new council members and to discuss the regulation of council. The president of the council Mr. Chen Li-dong presided over the meeting. On behalf of the council he showed his gratitude to all the participants for taking time out of their busy schedule to attend the meeting first, followed by a brief description on how to do the reelection at expiration well and the expected result of this meeting. And then by using PPT, the secretary general of Shanghai Ceramic Society Mr. Zhang Shen introduced the requirements and regulations of the election at expiration of academic society stipulated by Shanghai Administration Bureau of NGOs and Shanghai Association for Science and Technology. He also reported the membership registration and basic situation of 9^th council members and executive council members. Through negotiation and discussion it was initially decided that the list of representatives and their basic information who will participate in the congress of SCS have to be settled by the reelection group and the revised material should be presented to the academic department of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology and Shanghai Administration Bureau of NGOs for approval by the middle of June. It was scheduled that in the early July the “Congress of SCS and election at expiration” will be held at the conference hall of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics Chinese Academy of Sciences.
