The 3rd Shanghai Forum on Analysis and Testing Technique” was held on May 19th 2011, at Shanghai Institute of Ceramics Chinese Academy of Sciences. This Forum was co-organized by Shanghai Ceramic Society, Shanghai Institute of Ceramics Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Jiaotong University. About 150 representatives from universities, research institutes, state owned enterprises, foreign enterprises and the related departments of government attended this Forum. During the Forum 5 specialists coming from research institutes were invited to report their latest research achievements in analysis and testing field and more than ten testing and measuring technicians from universities, research institutes and enterprises in Shanghai presented their research papers. Shanghai Office of Shimadzu Corporation awarded certifications to the young outstanding awardees.
