Unveiling ceremony of “Material Engineering Department Renamed as Material and Engineering College” was held by Shanghai Institute of Technology （SIT）on June 26 2009. The major leaders of SIT and invited professors participated in this ceremony. Over 80 directors of related research institutes and industrial associations as well as universities (departments) participated in this ceremony. General Secretary of SCS also took part in the activity.
